Chardonnay accepts and reflects the terroir of the Carneros region and the fingerprint of the vintner. Fermented in 25-30% new French oak barrels and aged sur lie for eight months. During the ageing process, the barrels are stirred (batonnage) to increase yeast contact. Notes of pears, apricots and melon with toasted spicy oak characters are complemented on the palate by stone fruit, vanilla and hazelnuts. Full bodied and creamy, with a balanced and powerful finish. Enjoy over the next three years with chargrilled chicken or light fish dishes.
