Based in Greenwich, Meantime pride themselves not only on crafting exceptional beers but also on sharing their craft with fans, hence the regular brewery tours that they run. Based on a 150 year old pale ale tradition, when hops needed to be imported from California in order to meet demand, Meantime London Pale Ale continues that tradition by combining lots of American Cascade and Centennial hops to give it a complex citrus aroma. They also use lots of local Kentish Goldings to provide the bitterness that makes the style so refreshing. Spearmint, grass and ‘hop sack’ aromas, fruity citrus flavours and a bitter finish all help to make this pale ale very drinkable. Pair with foods that have a bit of a bite or body, such as mature cheese, penne arrabiata, steak and kidney pie and of course, curry.
