The name of this Raicilla refers to the spirit’s production method. Only the core of the Maximiliana agave – the ‘punta’ – is used, which is then cooked underground and crushed with a volcanic rock. Similarly only the ‘heart’ of the distillate is used, resulting in a smooth, subtle and elegant spirit.
