Section 94 is a subsection of Marlborough’s Hawkesbury Run, identified for its Sauvignon’s vibrant yellow fruit. The wine is an unorthodox example of Marlborough Sauvignon, made with native yeast fermentation in old French oak barrels, in which the wine undergoes extended lees ageing of 18 months. The result is a complex, grippy, yet soft and supremely drinkable wine of immense depth and texture.
