Cloudy Bay make this wine in very small quantities from two vineyard sites late in the growing season, when many of the bunches are botrytised, although some non-botrytised grapes are included for added freshness. 8 months maturation in oak ensures harmony and richness. Richly aromatic, offering notes of honey, nougat, orange blossom and peach. Indulgently sweet, the palate glows with luscious flavours of ripe fig and apricot, all the way through a long finish. Superb with crème brulée or poached pears.
