Château Lanessan’s vineyards are adjacent to those of Gruaud Larose and Beychevelle and their proximity to St. Julien gives a nod to the style of this fantastic Haut-Médoc. The (very) hot 2003 vintage was a challenging one across Europe but better wines have stood the test of time and are now drinking wonderfully well.
