Quinta do Crasto’s Tinta Roriz is released only in the finest years and it is made with 100% Tinta Roriz grapes. After foot treading at the lagares, the must was transferred to a stainless steel tank with an open top and mechanical footpads where it was fermented for 10 days at controlled temperatures. After finishing the fermentation the grapes were gently pressed in hydraulic presses. The ageing is done in new 225 litre French oak barrels for 16 months. Soft and round on the palate, very well balanced. A long and lingering finish.
