Wine of the Week – Sancerre Rosé, Dom. des Clairneaux

Given that Mother’s Day is only 4 days away we’ve selected the perfect gift for this event in the form of one of the finest rosé wines on the market.

The Sancerre Rosé, Dom. des Clairneaux is among the most distinguished rosés that France has to offer and is crafted entirely from Pinot Noir grapes.

You can expect  this wine to be light, fresh and elegant. There’s also ample aromas and great structure and minerality on both nose and palate, with fresh fruity notes that are perfectly balanced.
This wine comes from the chalky soil of Sancerre – a highly respected wine region in the heart of France.  These wines have become very popular thanks to the ease with which they can be paired with a variety of foods.
The wine buffs at Serenata describe this wine as:
“A beautiful glass of wine – it even looks gorgeous. 100% Pinot Noir rosé of delicacy and elegance. Medium bodied with fabulous summer pudding fruit strawberry, redcurrant and raspberry. Stunning.”
