rose wineBlack Stump Shiraz Durif Rose 2011
From £8.29 per bottle
Rich and refreshing Aussie rosé – part of the iconic Black Stump family. Outrageously delicious! The most gentle pressing of the grapes releases all the deep fruit you’d expect from a great Durif red – but with the most seductive hue and barely any drying tannins. With juicy berry fruit flavours and weighty texture, The Black Stump rosé is a great apéritif and a match for seared tuna, grilled pork chops and rare roast lamb.

viña navaViña Nava 2011
From £5.99 per bottle
Spain’s top style of rosé and a bargain! Excellent new vintage of last year’s acclaimed favourite. French winemaker Benoit Dreyer has combined the rosé winemaking techniques of his own country with ancient local traditions, and used pure Grenache – the same grape makes the renowned rosés of Provence. According to DO Navarra’s Regulating Council, slower than usual evolution of the grapes in 2011 gave rise to a series of “extraordinary” wines, especially evident in whites and rosés. Fresh and crisp with notes of strawberries and other red berries. Perfect alone or with tapas, and surprisingly good with Thai curry and stir fries.

From £6.99 per bottle
Ripe, fruity and very easy drinking. A real crowd-pleaser, that’s perfect for informal gatherings. Petticoat is loved for its easy, fruit rich style (think fresh cut watermelon and strawberries). And it stands out even more because the grapes were left hanging that bit longer for a wonderful hint of sweetness. A party wine that’s also great with grilled prawns or stir-fries.

campanula pinot noirCampanula Pinot Noir Rose 2011
From £6.99 per bottle
From the man behind your favourite Pinot Grigio – a delightfully fresh, fragrant, cool-climate rosé. This silky Pinot Noir rosé is from a modern, well-equipped cellar in the Balatonboglár region of Hungary. The grapes were selected from hillside vineyards close to Lake Balaton where the warm, but not too hot climate is perfect for Burgundy’s famously finicky variety. Gentle pressing and cool-fermentation has captured all the lush red fruit flavours of the revered Pinot Noir grape, leaving behind the tannins to produce a delightfully refreshing and aromatic pink that is delicious served chilled on its own or with canapés.
