A guide to Spanish grape varietals

Bacchanalia

Tuesday, 11th of September

6.45pm – 8.45pm
As a major trading and cultural crossroads and with such a varied climate from rain-soaked Galicia
in the north to Mediterranean Penedès in the east and arid Jerez in the south,
it’s no wonder that over 400 varieties of wine grapes are under cultivation in Spain.
Join us for an introduction to some of the key indigenous grapes that make up
the backbone of Spain’s wine trade, from more well-known varieties such as
Tempranillo and Albariño to the lesser known Malvasia and Xarel-lo.
Join us for a fun and an informative evening which will include:

*Sparkling Cava apéritif on arrival
